For the perfect lawn

If you’re creating a new lawn - or maintaining an existing one - you need to consider…

• Do you want a hard wearing surface for the kids or a smooth bowling green?
• What’s your soil like? Does it dry out in summer? Get waterlogged in winter?
• Is your lawn in a sunny spot, shady or a bit of both?

If your lawn is in good condition, regular mowing and occasional feeding will probably be all that’s needed. If, however, if your lawn has a lot of weeds or moss, more vigorous maintenance may be required. In extreme cases, it might be best to start again with new turf.
